The Asia 4-H Network is delighted to announce the 5th 4-H International Green Summit, scheduled for 23rd to 27th November 2025 in the breathtaking Himalayan nation of Nepal. This summit will bring together 150 international delegates from both 4-H and non-4-H countries, all dedicated to advancing positive change for a more sustainable and prosperous Asia and the globe.

The Green Summit will feature curated discussions and purpose-driven meetings designed to turn ideas into scalable solutions that can transform institutions and communities. The event will emphasize Sustainable Development, Green Economy, and Asian Agri- Food Systems, Climate Crisis, Asian Future Leadership, Unemployment and migration, Gender, Experience sharing and Cultural Exchange.

~ Highlights of Summit ~

The summit will bring together global leaders, experts, and youth advocates to address critical issues including climate change, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and sustainable agriculture. Emphasizing the pivotal role of youth, it will foster collaboration on innovative strategies and solutions to tackle environmental and developmental challenges. The summit will encompass a diverse range of activities, including workshops, seminars, side events, and the development of the Asia Climate Action Plan, cultural exchanges, and youth festival programs. All sessions will be interactive and participatory, encouraging collaboration and engagement among participants.
  • 1. Workshops and Seminars

    The event will adopt a hybrid format, combining the United Nations model with parallel sessions, interactive workshops, and expert presentations. Workshops and seminars will integrate the Nepali model while meeting global standards, providing unique, foundational insights, and engaging experiences to enhance understanding and collaboration among participants.

  • 2. Global Youth Festival and Flagship side event

    The Global Youth Festival will address youth challenges, focusing on food, climate change, entrepreneurship, and cultural heritage. It features plenary sessions, assemblies, expos, and workshops fostering innovation. Side events, hosted independently or in partnership, will follow clear guidelines, with organizers officially recognized for promoting collaboration and impactful discussions.

  • 3. Asia Agri-Climate Strategy Action Plan (2026-2028)

    The Asia Agri-Climate Strategy Action Plan (2026–2028) will focus on green agriculture, climate resilience, and youth leadership, aligning with the SDGs. Led by the Asia 4-H Network with UN and World Bank support, it ensures participatory development, strong foundations, and sustainable empowerment for youth through workshops, collaboration, and implementation.

  • 4. Exploring Nepal’s Green Horizon

    Field visits across Nepal’s hills and mountains will showcase indigenous foods, cultural practices, and farming technologies. Participants will explore areas heavily affected by climate change, gaining firsthand insights into agricultural innovations and the challenges faced by local communities, fostering a deeper understanding of sustainable practices and climate resilience.

  • 5. Kathmandu Cultural Heritage Tour

    The Kathmandu Valley tour offers participants a tour of key landmarks, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites, historical places renowned for their stunning architecture, spiritual significance, and cultural heritage.

  • 6. Himalayan Food Festival

    The Himalayan Food Festival will showcase Himalayan and Asian cuisines through live cooking, tastings, and a forum on traditional foods and climate change. Cultural documentaries and messages from renowned figures will highlight food sustainability. International organizations will join with food stalls, celebrating culinary traditions and promoting global culinary collaboration.

  • 7. Asian Cultural Celebration

    The Asian Cultural Celebration will be a vibrant showcase of the rich and diverse cultures of Asian countries, besides Nepal. The event will highlight traditional music, dance, and storytelling, offering participants a rich glimpse into the diverse cultural tapestry of the 4-H network.

  • 8. Mountain Flight

    A one-hour mountain flight during the 5th 4-H Green Summit will showcase Nepal’s iconic peaks, including Mt. Everest, with expert briefings. Participants will witness climate change impacts firsthand, emphasizing the vulnerability of mountain regions and the urgent need for collective action to safeguard these vital landscapes for future generations.

  • 9. Committee Formation and Roadmap Review

    A new 4-H committee for 2025-2028 will be elected to implement the action plan and review the current committee’s work and roadmap for future initiatives.

  • 10. Asia Green Award

    The Asia Youth Green Award (AYGA) 2025 honors young leaders from 4-H member countries for exceptional contributions to green agriculture, climate change, and the SDGs. Recognizing innovation, resilience, and social impact, this prestigious accolade highlights bold actions and transformative ideas shaping sustainable, inclusive communities and a better future for all.

  • 11. Nepali Feast

    The summit will conclude with a social reception featuring traditional Nepali cuisine and beverages, celebrating Nepal's culinary heritage while fostering networking.

    Registration Fee :

    Regular Fee:

    The standard registration fee for each delegate is USD 1,000. This fee includes local transportation, five days of accommodation, and a field visit. Kindly note that scholarships are not available for this program.

    Special Fee (Optional):

    Delegates may choose to participate in a mountain flight experience for an additional fee of USD 1,200. This optional package includes a scenic airplane tour showcasing Mount Everest and six other renowned peaks.
